At Coordonné, we understand sustainability as a holistic commitment, integrated into every stage of our value chain. From the responsible selection of natural materials and innovation in product design, to production, distribution and customer service, each step reflects our vision of creating a positive environmental impact.

We prioritise responsible resource management and the well-being of our team, while driving sustainable transformation within the interior design sector.

Ever since my parents told me they wanted to be part of the Coordonné project, I’ve proudly embraced the responsibility of continuing the generational leadership of a family business whose roots go back to my grandparents. It’s been a mix of excitement and challenge, as I’ve had to make decisions that have led the brand through both qualitative and quantitative growth – none of which came easily.

Until 2001, the company operated entirely manually and focused solely on the domestic market. This gave Coordonné a strong foundation and deep market knowledge. Once I became involved, I made it a priority to digitise our processes and make our brand global.

The idea behind Coordonné was born from the vision of an incredible woman who, at a time when opportunities for women were limited, boldly launched her own venture in the world of interior design. A natural sense of aesthetics ran in her veins – her parents and grandparents were already part of the industry. Her name is Carmen López de Lamadrid.

This visionary woman laid the foundation for the next generation. Her son, Gabriel Bans, carried forward her legacy and led the company into a new era – expanding internationally and introducing sustainable, efficient practices. Today, Coordonné is present in over 50 countries and operates its own manufacturing line, allowing us to maintain full control over our processes and continue advancing on our path toward sustainability.
