Red and gold have always taken a lead role at Christmas time; it’s the way it has always been.

In the world of interior design, colours represent a symbol to transmit energy, or a way of life.

You may like them during the rest of the year, but what’s certain is that over the Christmas period you will give these two colours an important role in your home Christmas decor, combining them with the glamourous shade of black.

At Christmas, the principal aim is to create a feeling of warmth and happiness, and to bring a positive message of togetherness to our homes.

There is a long history of red in different cultures around the world. In oriental cultures for example, and more specifically during the Ming dynasty (1500), the colour red was synonymous with joy, and gold represented power and glamour.

At Coordonné we want to offer you a colour pallet to stimulate your senses, and to bring you the most joyful Christmas spirit imaginable.

We wish you a very happy Christmas and a wonderful start to the new year!
