Kala

Languages, those small yet vast treasure chests filled with words, preserve within them the values and riches of every culture. While in the West the term “Art” traditionally encompasses seven disciplines, the Sanskrit word Kala (कला) embraces as many as 64. How could we fail to be inspired by a civilisation that considers completing poetic verses, arranging headdresses and crowns, or even playing and splashing in water to be forms of art?
